Wesley R. McCoy, 76, of Salton City, CA passed away on March 27, 2019. He was born on January 19, 1942 in Nebraska. Wesley is survived by his sister, Eloise Richardson of Spokane, WA. Wes was a U.S. Marine, retired. No further information has become available. Wes was located (when searching for classmates in preperation for our 50th reunion) in March of 2016. He said he had some health issues but was currently feeling well and being supported by a friend. At that time he was in great spirits and was glad to be greeted and remembered by his LHS classmates.

Wes was one interesting person. He always stood out to me because was a "reader". He always carried a paper back book to class. While some might tune out the teacher, Wed pulled out his book and read. I thought that he did this to avoid getting into trouble. He was kind of a no nonsense person. I did not know him well at all but, he impressed me. A rather quiet person anxious to get on with life. RIP Wes!
