The Lincoln High School Class of 1961 sends sincere condolences to the family of Frank Orosco.  All '61 LINKS with be forever connected.

Frank Orosco, age 72, of Lincoln, died Friday, October 17, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. Frank was born on June 21, 1942, in Kearney, Neb. to Jose and Maria (Urquizo) Orosco. At the age of 9 the family moved to Lincoln where he graduated from Lincoln High. He entered the Marines and then worked for BNSF Railroad as a blacksmith, and he retired after 41 years of service.

Frank is survived by two sons; Kevin Orosco of Lincoln, and David Orosco of Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo.; two grandchildren; a sister, Marylou Taylor of Lincoln; 3 brothers, Tony (wife Helen) Orosco of Lincoln, Bobby Dean (Peggy) Orosco of Washington and Richard John Orosco of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Scott and Mary Anderson, and Wes and Debbie Wright of Lincoln. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Carmen Lindschmidt and Lupe Parks; three brothers, Pete Orosco, George Orosco, and Joe Orosco, Jr.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 22, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Mike Morin celebrating the Mass. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. There will be a Vigil Service at 7 PM on Tuesday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Condolences may be left at www.bmlfh.com.
