Linda attended Lincoln High her sophomore year after which she moved with her family to Arizona.  She had fond memories of Lincoln High and joined the website to be able to catch up with old friends.  The news of Linda's passing just reached us.  Condolences to Linda's children and their families from the LHS Class of 1961.  Her obituary from 2017 is posted below.

Linda Lou Colquette, age 74, died of complications from COPD on September 3, 2017, in Gilbert, AZ. Linda is survived by her husband Larry of 51 years, her sons: Nick (Lorraine), Tom (Jeanne), Dean (Kelli), five grandchildren: Keri (Jason), Kyle, Cole, Alec, Carley, a great-grand daughter Lexi, and a number of other relatives, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Edith and Warren Calland and her father, Horace Chattin Jr. Linda was born on June 10, 1943 in Union, Nebraska. She moved to Arizona when she was 16 years old. She worked in the automotive industry as a business manager in California and Arizona for many years and then moved back to California to work for Volkswagon of Van Nuys until she retired in 2010.Linda thoroughly enjoyed her family and anything to do with race cars. She also loved to sew, bake, and play her organ. Her family and friends will always remember her as a beautiful, loving person. Friends and family celebrated Linda's life at Messinger Mortuary at 7601 E Indian School Scottsdale, AZ on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 6 p.m. There was be a private graveside service for immediate family members at the Veterans National Cemetery 23029 Cave Creek Road Phoenix, AZ on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 1 p.m. The family thanked Hospice of the Valley  and Shady Pines Care Home for taking such good care of her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in Linda's name to Hospice of the Valley , 1510 E Flower Street Phoenix, AZ 85014-5656.

In researching classmates' address, it was found that Linda's husband, Larry, died in 2021.
