The following comment written by Jerri's niece, Courtney, was posted on Jerri's Facebook page.  It is a loving tribute.

"My heart is so sad and my days will never be the same 💔 My strong, smart, funny and oh so stubborn aunt Gigi has passed away. I’m trying to find comfort in knowing she is at peace and I have no doubt her son who passed 26 years ago was right there waiting to embrace her. My side of the family is very small and over the years, that has been a blessing and a struggle. The one thing I could count on was my aunt Gigi to be there for me. She always had a way to make me feel better and she may have been my biggest support! I will miss our talks and time together but I have wonderful memories that will be with me forever. Thanks for loving me so hard and unconditionally. One last favor Gigi…please give my dad🪽 the biggest hug ever for me!!

Love you and I miss you so much already 💗"

I can say that Jerrilee was a unique and fun friend. Those two plus myself and Joan Campbell..... Well, let's just say that we were probably up to no good most of the time. Those were the days........ RIP my friend!

I knew Jerrilee as a fiesty, driven woman with an opinion about all that she cared about. She will be missed for her attitude toward things that were wrong and trying to get us all to do the right things when we were wrong.. Rest in peace my friend.
