Marc - you were some sort of character!!!!   Aside from playing football - must have had a great arm, I remember him for one incident in particular.  Late one Saturday afternoon as we drove around south west of town, Marc spotted an old car - I think it was a Zepher - now that is really, really old.  If I recall, Marc wanted a manual trans for his car - don't recall what he had at the time at all.  Anyway, we drove around a while and then returned - toward sundown - it was summer.  Marc and I jumped out of his car with tools in hand and removed the transmission from that car in record time.  I was scared to death - I think I just committed a theft of some sort.  We hurried over to his house where we left the trans in his garage.  I don't recall doing much with Marc after that .. as I said, he was some sort of character and, good for a laugh.  I think I learned something from that incident!!
