Roger Frank de Brown passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at the age of 81. He was born December 19, 1943 in Lincoln, NE. Rog was a lifelong Lincoln resident, attended Sheridan Elementary, Irving Junior High and was a proud 1961 graduate of Lincoln High School where he participated in athletics. He attended UNL and served in the Navy 1962-64. Rog worked for his family's car dealership business, De Brown Auto Sales and then enjoyed various jobs following the sale of the dealership. Rog loved raising his two daughters, sunshine and time at Lake Waconda with family and friends, cars, Nebraska football, travel, especially winters in San Diego and Hawaii! Everyone who knew him has a favorite "Rog story" or memory involving his goofy, fun personality, which will be missed.
We appreciate the people who provided compassionate care at The Arbors Memory Care and HoriSun Hospice. Roger chose to donate his body to the Anatomical Board at UNMC to be used for science education and research.
There will be a private family burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial donation in memory of Roger de Brown to the Alzheimer's Association at 1.800.272.3900 or alz.org.

So sorry about Rogge but a blessing in disguise. He must have suffered so trying to straighten things out. Girls both of your parents were great people, fun, talented and loved by all. Gidge Schmidt
