News has reached us that Curtis Faust died on December 7, 2019.  Thanks to classmate David Wicken who sent notification.   The Class of '61 sends condolences to the family.

Curtis N Faust, age 76, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Curtis was born October 30, 1943 to Edward and Lydia Faust.  Immediately following graduation from Lincoln High School, Curtis joined the US Air Force and served for four years.  Curtis was stationed at Ellsworth Air Force Base near Rapid City, SD, and later at McCoy Air Force Base near Orlanda, FL.  Upon fulfilling his military commitment, Curtis remained in Orlando for several years.  During those years he worked as Head Draftsman for the city of Orlando.  Curtis returned to Lincoln in the mid 70's and worked several jobs, one of which was as a Lincoln city bus driver.  Curtis focused much of his time on art, specifically oils and water colors on canvas.  Art was a focus of Curtis's brother and sister, as well.  

Preceded in death by his parents; sister Kathleen Jeppson.  Survived by his brother James R. and sister-in-law Tekla Faust of Lincoln.  James provided details about Curtis's life and for that Lincoln High Class of 1961 is very grateful.
