Until the 40th Reunion, Vern was a "Lost Link". Fortunately, during the searches preceding the reunion he was located. He was living in Flemington, New Jersey. Vern died August 26, 2004.

I remember that Vern arrived at Lincoln High either during his later Junior year or for the beginning of his senior year. I recall that we did ride around several times during the senior year - guess I was trying to make him feel at home. I don't recall much about Vern other than I was struck with the fact that he was really a great person. Had a great laugh - I can just about visualize him now as he was driving and saying something really funny. What a great laugh!!!
