Lydia was living in Omaha at the time of her death, December 25, 2002.  Lydia was born in Poland.  For ten years she was employed by the State of Nebraska.  She and her husband served as foster parents for six years.  Lydia was an avid card player and also enjoyed camping and belonged to the campers “Once a Month Club” for 30 years.  Lydia was survived by her husband, one son and one daughter.  She had four brothers and three sisters and was preceded in death by one sister.
