Word has been received of Jean’s death, which occurred on November 14, 2011, from her husband, Chuck Hellerich. Jean contracted multiple myeloma approximately 7 years ago. Jean posted a very complete biography on our website prior to the 50th reunion. The value of her thoughtfulness to have shared her post Lincoln High School life with classmates, now becomes profoundly significant.

I am so sorry to hear of Jeans death. I was looking forward to seeing her at the reunion . One memory I have of Jean is that we took Physics in J D Young's class together...not many girls in there so we sat together in class. We got a slip from the office to report to Dorcus Weatherbee's office ( asst principal for girls) and we held hands all the way there. As we waited more girls showed up and we finally caught on that we were being informed that we were chosen to be CHEERLEADERS! Big moment when you are in High School.
My condolences to the family. She was a great gal!
