A small triangle of city park across the street from Jan's former home has been established in Jan's memory and a sign posted names the area "Jan Pitsch Green". A bench with a brass marker also commemorates the area. Jan's park is located at approximately 32nd and Sheridan Blvd. on the south side of the street. To those responsible I want to express my appreciation. I often take walks along this street and I noticed the sign about two weeks ago.

How beautiful and so thoughtful of Janis, but then Janis was a beautiful and thoughtful person! Thanks for sharing so folks like me in Miami, FL can view and know about it. Virginia Hodgin Herrmann
