In Memory

Billy D. Rogers

This lovely tribute was written by Billy's wife, Judy Fiala Rogers, also a member of our Class of '61.  We are grateful to Judy and her generosity in sharing these memories.

JUDITH K. FIALA ROGERS

Bill not only was a classmate of mine for several years, he was a loving, caring, understanding (very forgiving) husband of almost 33 years. He is greatly missed by our family . There isn't hardly a day that goes by that one of us doesn't say OH DAD WOULD HAVE ''''''' THIS.
He went far in his occupation of choice being an electrician. Many companies recognized his unique talent in this field and wanted his expertise on their job sites. THUS ....we moved 27 times in 32 years. But it was fun and interesting. Made it easy for me also to get a job working for them in the field office trailers. A lot of people say they couldn't work with their husband or wife....well we could . He was on one end of the trailer and I was on the other only meeting at lunch time. Worked out great. He was Project Manager for several jobs in 12 different states . One of his first jobs even, was at the Cooper Nuclear original job site in Nebraska City. We traveled from coast to coast several times.
To KNOW HIM WAS TO LOVE HIM was my motto of this mans memory.
