Gary L. Siemers, 72, formerly of Lincoln, NE, died on January 17, 2016, at the Gretna Community Living Center in Gretna, NE. Gary was born on February 11, 1943 to Clarence and Bernice (Wells) Siemers in Culver City, CA. He was raised and received his education in Lincoln. During his life, Gary worked for Staufer Chemical in Omaha, NE, maintenance for the Lincoln Public Schools, and various construction jobs. He was a member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, having helped and volunteered with the church for many years. He enjoyed sports, particularly Husker football and high school basketball.

He was survived by family: his sons, Darren and, wife Deb Siemers of Gretna, and Dana Siemers of Omaha; and grandchildren, Kelsey Siemers and Jackson Siemers. He was preceded in death by his parents.
