A reunion letter was returned to us, April 8, 2016, indicating Elva had passed away.  We are, again, sad to share the news of a loss of our classmate.  This obituary was published in the Union-Recorder, Milledgeville, GA.

The death of Elva Stevens Price, 72, occurred Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday March 23 at the chapel of Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Ford officiating.  Burial followed in Ramah Cemetery. Ms. Price was born in Denver, Colo. but made her home Wilkinson County for most of her life before moving to Milledgeville.  She was a homemaker and member of the Calvary Baptist Church in McIntyre. Survivors include her sons, Jimmy Price of Lincoln, Neb., Stephen Price (Sally) and Jonathan Price (Catherine), all of McIntyre; daughters, Teresa Hightower (David) of Ivey, Judy Theocharides of Milledgeville and Kim Hall (Mike) of Gordon; four brothers; and eight sisters; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  Elva's twin, Bessie May Stevens King, is also a member of our LHS 1961 class.  Bessie lives in Buffalo, MO.  Couey-Reece-Stanley Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Elva.
