In 1963 Vicki married and in the years following had three children.  After becoming a single mother, all of Vicki's energy was focused on supporting her three children.   She worked at Misty's Restaurant, both north and south locations.  She owned a commercial and residential cleaning business for several years and also managed an apartment complex.  After retirement, she turned her full attention to her nine grandchildren.  She loved babysitting for all of them whenever needed.  Vicki regularly attended their sporting events, dance events and graduations.  In 2004 Vicki married John Scheidt.  Vicki and John blended their two families and enjoyed double the family gatherings.  Vicki and John especially enjoyed vacationing in Branson.  On Christmas Day, 2008, Vicki was diagnosed with kidney cancer and died March 4, 2009.  John died three weeks later.  Vicki is survived by two daughters, one son, one sister, Sharon (LHS Class of '59), and her nine grandchildren.
