Theodore Wayne Gushard, 73, of Boise, Idaho, passed away July 7, 2016, with his family by his side.
Ted served in the United States Navy from 1960-1981. On April 17, 1964, he married Lois Marie Pearson. In April of 1982, he started at the Outagamie Sheriff's Department. After serving 16 years he retired in April of 1998. Ted had a passion for football, especially the Packers and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Ted enjoyed his hobbies of brewing beer, woodworking and the outdoors. His Boxer, Packer, was his best friend. Ted had a giant heart and a great love for his family. He will be miss enormously by all.

Ted is survived by the love of his life of 52 years, Lois; his 3 sons: Theodore Gushard II, Scott (Toni) Gushard, and Gregg (Jessica) Gushard; his 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also Survived by 3 brothers: Thomas (Ima) Gushard, Robert (Elizabeth) Gushard, Charles (Marcia) Druse and numerous nieces and nephews.

R.I.P Shipmate and Classmate. Ted and I were Navy Recruiters in Nebraska, Ted in Lincoln and myself in York. Ted was a good person who always had fun and enjoyed life. He will be missed. May you have Fair Winds and Following Seas and your journey be peaceful.
