To supplement Wilma's LJS obituary information, the following will be of interest to classmates which was found in LHS Class of '61 history.

Wilma and husband Larry, LHS class '59, made their home in Lincoln for most of their marriage.  When LHS Class of '61 reunions approached Wilma was contacted and she and Larry felt very connected to LHS.  She loved her Lincoln home and very reluctantly a few years ago agreed to move to Papillion NE to be near their daughter.  They moved into a senior living facility when she and husband, Larry, required more care.  Wilma shared this short biography of her life back in 1971 and it was published in our Class of '61 10th Year Reunion yearbook:

Wilma and Larry lived at 1510 Fairfield St. in Lincoln.  Children are Cheryl Lynn and Steven Michael.  Wilma attended the University of Nebraska School of Nursing in Omaha, graduating with a B.S. in June, 1965.  In January of 1964 Wilma married Larry Finley (LHS '59) and the following June moved into a new Lincoln home that they planned and built.  Wilma worked her way up to the position of Supervisor in Surgery at St. Elizabeth's Hospital and worked until Cheryl was born.  She and Larry have made several trips to Colorado, Arkansas and went to Las Vegas and California in 1969.  They have gone to several out-of-town Nebraska football games including the Cotton Bowl.  Larry, who is a Drill Instructor in the Army Reserve, attended the University of Nebraska.  He works as an electrician for his father.  Wilma and Larry both golf and bowl and Wilma enjoys bridge, knitting and sewing.

The LHS Class of '61 sends sincere condolences to Wilma's husband and children.
